The Society holds a conference each year in mid July. This is normally held in central London and attracts scholars from around the world. The July 2012 Conference will be hosted by the Institute of English Studies, University of London, on 4-6 July 2012, and features keynote talks by Michael Rosen, Kasia Boddy, Norma Clarke, and Sarah Wardle. The Institute is located in Bloomsbury, at the heart of Literary London, close to major attractions, libraries, and colleges.
