Julian Wolfreys is Professor of nineteenth- and twentieth-century British Literature at the University of Florida. In addition to two volumes of Writing London for Palgrave, he has published and edited numerous books. He is currently working on a third volume of Writing London, which will address the poetics and politics of urban representation from the seventeenth to the twentieth century.
