Jenny Bavidge is Lecturer in English at the University of Greenwich. She received her PhD, 'Representations of Urban Space in the Postmodern Novel' from University of London in 2001 and has several forthcoming articles on related subjects. Research interests include: urban theory; children's literature and the representation of the urban child; the representation of London in contemporary literature and film.
